Abstract: Hereditary transthyretin (TTR) amyloidosis is a multisystem disorder caused by extracellular amyloid deposition, usually presenting with neurological and cardiovascular involvement. Gastrointestinal involvement, if present, is usually in the form of motility symptoms like diarrhea, constipation, or diarrhea alternating with constipation.
