An Unusual Infection in an Immunocompetent Male of a Non-Endemic Area: Lessons from a Vacation

Abstract: Primary pulmonary histoplasmosis is found worldwide, and is particularly endemic in some areas of North America, usually those surrounding the Ohio and Mississippi river valleys.
