Abstract:Vascular malformations (VMs) are congenital anomalies of the capillary, venous, lymphatic, and arterial system. They may be distinguished from vasoproliferative tumors (hemangiomas) which present with increased endothelial cell turnover, whereas VMs are structural anomalies of vessels without endothelial cell proliferation.
