Abstract:The study of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) biology has gained popularity recently. Research discovered that two NAD+ biosynthesis intermediates, nicotinamide riboside (NR) and nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN), are biosynthetic precursors of NAD+, an essential chemical for metabolism.
