“…Although robust evidence reports that most individuals with SCI may not follow appropriate dietary recommendations post injury (14)(15)(16)(17)(18), evidence on how habitual diet and micro-and macronutrient intake or specific dietary interventions affect metabolic and neurohumoral changes in SCI individuals remains inconsistent.
