Abstract:Anagrelide is used worldwide to treat essential thrombocythemia (ET) by reducing platelet counts. Cardiomyopathy and heart failure (HF) are rare but serious complications associated with anagrelide use, although no cases were reported during Japanese Phase I to III studies.
