Abstract:Relevant data on drugs used for analgesia and sedation in newborns in the intensive care units during mechanical ventilation is presented. The overview of studies on the most common sedatives and analgesics (opioids, acetaminophen, ketamine, midazolam, dexmedetomidine, propofol) is provided.
