Abstract: A manipueira, líquido residual da mandioca com alta carga orgânica e compostos tóxicos, pode causar impacto ambiental negativos. Ainda pouco reutilizada é armazenada em cisternas a céu aberto, onde passa a sofrer variados processos físico-químicos e biológicos, adquirindo um aspecto de melaço.
