Abstract:This paper presents the main effects of the multiple-resonant voltage controller on the parallelism of uninterruptible power supplies (UPSs) with droop control. Assuming a finite gain multiple-resonant controller, it is evidenced the influence of its damping coefficients in the UPS output impedance and on the design of the droop gains via root locus. It is also shown that these coefficients can emulate the effect of a virtual resistance, usually applied in the droop control. Simulation results illustrate the p… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
