Analisis Bencana Tanah Longsor di Wilayah Provinsi Jawa Tengah

Abstract: Landslides are one of the disasters that often occur in Indonesia. Central Java Province is an area that has the potential to experience landslides due to varied morphological forms such as plateaus and hills. This study aims to analyze the causes, impacts and management of disaster management. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The data is obtained from supporting data such as BNPB, Central Java BPBD, related scientific articles, and media. The results showed that the impact … Show more

“…Although a slope is vulnerable or has the potential for landslides, due to the slope conditions, rocks/soils and water systems, the slope will not be landslide or disturbed by its stability without being triggered by the trigger process. Avalanche triggering processes can be; Increased water content in the slope, Tremors on the slopes due to earthquakes, and indiscriminate cutting of the slope legs resulting in the slope losing the buffer force [15]. Some environmental management strategies that can be carried out to overcome landslide disasters are: 1.)…”

“…Landslide in general is the movement of rock, soil or both to the bottom of a slope that occurs on a broken surface either curved (rotational) or planar (translational) [3]. According to Paimin, Sukresno and Pramono (2009) landslides occur if 3 (three) conditions are met, namely: (1) the slope is steep enough, (2) there is an impermeable sliding plane below the ground surface, and (3) there is enough water in the soil above the impermeable layer (sliding plane) so that the soil is water-saturated [4]. Cruden and Varnes (1996) [5] mentioned that the factors causing landslides are divided into 2 groups, namely causal factors and trigger factors.…”
