Eating disorders (ED) have become a public health issue and they emerge during adolescence. Despite this situation, to our knowledge, there are no scientific systematic reviews of the risk factors associated with ED among Spanish adolescents. Therefore, the aim of this study is to explore the risk factors associated with ED among Spanish adolescents. Databases were and . Seventeen articles were included in the analysis after applying the eligibility criteria. Main results show that BMI (biological factor), psychological comorbidity (psychological factor), and the quality of family dynamics (family factor) are the key risk factors in previous literature. Furthermore, there is a noteworthy lack of studies addressed to evaluate sociocultural risk factors related to ED.
