Tourist resources are a source of inspiration and development of a geographical space, since they can position a culture before the vision of the world. Peru has a variety of resources that have potential and are welcomed by national and foreign visitors. The present investigation had as objective to analyze the tourist resources of the province of Sullana to promote tourism. The methodology was worked under a quantitative approach, of a non-experimental design, of a descriptive type and a non-probabilistic sample for convenience, likewise, the tourist resources registered in Sigmincetur were analyzed. Among the results found, it was evidenced that there are tourist resources that have concurrence, that do not have the necessary infrastructure to welcome visitors, likewise, that the resource registry must be updated to select, categorize and incorporate other resources with tourist potential. It was concluded that the province is an area that has resources with high potential to develop tourism; however, it should focus on disseminating them through projects that integrate social actors.
