Abstract

The questioning skill is a teaching skill that is the basic requirement for mastering the next skill. Questioning techniques are not only aimed at obtaining information, but can also improve basic questioning techniques. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the teacher's ability to ask questions is sesean in Class IV learning at SDN 4. The purpose of this study was to find out what the teacher's ability to ask questions was like. The research subjects were teachers and students. In this study using a descriptive method. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The conclusion of this study is that there are teachers who are sub-optimal in mastering basic questioning skills when changing curves. This can be seen when the teacher asks questions and the teacher encourages students to give their opinions, but this teacher does not point evenly or alternately, so there are still students who are less active in class.
