Analisis Pola Hujan dan Musim di Jawa Timur Sebagai Langkah Awal Untuk Antisipasi Bencana Kekeringan

Abstract

Analysis of a rain and season pattern becomes very important to avoid water supply deficit at the region with limited water resources. This study aims to quantify the rain and season pattern of region, East Java. The result shows, average rainfall precipitation is 1,4 mm/minutes at the 0 to 5 minutes of rain, 1,6 mm/minutes at the 5 to 10 minutes of rain, 1,5 mm/minutes at 10 to 20 minutes of rain, 0,13 mm/minutes at the 20 to 57 minutes of rain, and 0,12 mm/minutes at the 57 to 81 minutes of rain. Moreover, pattern of the season shows that the beginning of dry season is in March, the peak of dry season is in June, the first rainfall is in the middle of September, and the peak of rain season in January.
