Analisis Teori Reasoned Action Pada Niat Mahasiswi Jurusan Ilmu Kesehatan Masyarakat Universitas Negeri Malang Untuk Menikah dengan Laki-laki Perokok

Abstract

Passive smokers are very susceptible to diseases caused by cigarettes because they inhale cigarette smoke which is three times more dangerous than that inhaled by smokers. In an adult passive smoker, the risk of cardiovascular disease and lung cancer will increase by 25 percent. Public health students study health aspects and are expected to become health agents in the community. However, not all consider smoking behavior in choosing a partner, for that the authors are interested in conducting this study. This research is included in quantitative research with cross sectional approach. The sample in this study was 89 respondents, analyzed using the chi-square test. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable, as well as to find out which variable has the most influence. The results of this study indicate that the factors associated with the intention of a student of the Department of Public Health to marry a male smoker are individual trust (p-value equal to 0.020) and normative belief (p-value equal to 0.007). While the factors that are not related to the intention of a student of the Department of Public Health, State University of Malang to marry a male smoker are age (p-value equal to 0.079), level of education (p equal to 0.140), smoking status (p equal to 0.084), evaluation of trust (p equal to 0,340), motivation to obey (p equal to 0,108). Based on the results of the study, the most influential variable was normative belief.
 Abstrak: Perokok pasif sangat mudah terserang penyakit yang disebabkan oleh rokok, hal ini dikarena ikut menghirup asap rokok yang memiliki bahaya tiga kali lebih besar dari yang dihisap perokok. Pada seorang perokok pasif risiko terkena penyakit kardiovaskuler dan kanker paru akan meningkat 25 persen. Mahasiswi Kesehatan Masyarakat diharapkan menjadi agen kesehatan dimasyarakat. Namun tidak semua mempertimbangkan perilaku merokok dalam memilih pasangan, untuk itu penulis tertarik melakukan penelitian ini. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara varibel bebas dengan variabel terikat, juga untuk mengetahui variabel mana yang paling berpengaruh. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan faktor yang berhubungan dengan niat mahasiswi Jurusan Ilmu Kesehatan Masyarakat untuk menikah dengan laki-laki perokok yaitu kepercayaan individu (p-value sama dengan 0,020) dan kepercayaan normative (p-value sama dengan 0,007). Sedangkan faktor yang tidak berhubungan dengan niat mahasiswi Jurusan Ilmu Kesehatan Masyarakat Universitas Negeri Malang untuk menkah dengan laki-laki perokok adalah usia (p-value sama dengan 0,079), tingkat perkuliahan (p sama dengan 0,140), status merokok (psama dengan0,084), evaluasi terhadap kepercayaan (p sama dengan 0,340), motivasi untuk menaati (p sama dengan 0,108). Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian didapatkan variabel paling berpengaruh yakni kepercayaan normatif.
