Thematic learning emphasizes the application of the concept of learning by doing in the classroom and the application of the concept of learning by playing. The problems that occur are that the implementation of learning is still fixated on separate subjects that are not in accordance with the learning themes used, the learning process is teacher-centered, the unavailability of learning tools in accordance with thematic characteristics. This study aims to develop thematic learning teaching materials for PGSD study program students and test the effectiveness of their products. The model used is a research and development (R&D) model with a Dick & Carey design model. The research instruments used were questionnaires, tests, interviews, and documentation. The results of the research are in the form of teaching material products. The results of the validation of these teaching materials obtained scores from learning experts of 75%, material experts of 81.66%, and media experts of 76%. The teaching materials developed are very effective and feasible to use based on the results of the paired sample t test with the results of P < 0.000, df = 29, t = -51.470.

Pendidikan dan pembelajaran secara global telah mengalami perubahan dari era berfokus pada pembelajaran langsung menjadi pembelajaran campuran. Pandemi turut memberikan sumbangsih terhadap pola pembelajaran yang semula daring kemudian diarahkan untuk kembali menjadi pembelajaran luring semi daring. Fenomena adaptasi belajar ini juga dirasakan dalam proses pembelajaran guru yang ada di Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur, Provinsi Jambi. Guru mendapatkan tantangan tersendiri untuk merancang kegiatan pembelajaran yang dapat mengembalikan minat dan perhatian peserta didik saat mengikuti kelas tatap muka. Berdasarkan kondisi tersebut, maka dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian yang berfokus pada pelatihan penggunaan Flip PDF sebagai aplikasi pembuat bahan ajar dan dilengkapi dengan penggunaan mentimeter.com sebagai salah satu pilihan pembuatan media presentasi interaktif dalam pembelajaran. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan di SMA N 8 Tanjung Jabung Timur. Guru diberikan pelatihan penggunaan Flip PDF sebagai bahan ajar elektronik dalam pembelajaran pada sesi pertama. Guru juga memperoleh pengalaman dalam membuat media presentasi interaktif melalui situs mentimeter.com. Setelah mengikuti kegiatan, guru memiliki keterampilan tambahan terkait pembuatan bahan ajar dan media presentasi yang interaktif selama pembelajaran berlangsung. Pelatihan dalam penggunaan Flip PDF dan Mentimeter dapat menjadi langkah penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di era digital. Pendekatan ini memberikan guru alat yang kuat untuk menciptakan pengalaman pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan menarik. Dengan demikian, upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas Pendidikan dapat terus ditingkatkan melalui penggunaan teknologi digital yang efektif.

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) helps people learn is becoming more and more common in the teaching process. This lets learners keep learning by using their mobile devices to access their learning tools. On the other hand, language teachers, who are often both users and creators of teaching and learning activities, do not always know how to use and apply the steps on designing the lesson by infiltrating technology. The purpose of this study is to develop the efficacy of game-based learning multimedia in enhancing student-learning outcomes in the classroom with regard to English grammar. The research development of multimedia game-based learning using the Raiser and Demsey procedure. The trial of product development had passed multiple processes, including: the review from a media expert, which included software changes and visual communication; the review from a content expert, which included material and instructional design; the responses of students to the product's usability and attractiveness; and the review from a content expert. The implication of this study is that the language learning design with the ICT approach is able to fulfil the needs and skills of students. Gamification can enhance the learning process because it can engage and motivate students with games.
