Analyse séquentielle d'un nouveau gisement de poissons fossiles du Messinien marin diatomitique : Masseria il Salto près de Caltagirone (Province de Catane, Sicile)

Abstract: Un nouveau gisement de poissons fossiles est décrit dans le Messinien diatomitique des environs de Caltagirone (Province de Catane, Sicile). Pour la première fois est réalisée l'étude pluridisciplinaire d'un gisement fossilifère dont l'ichthyofaune est constituée pour près des 3/4 par des Myctophidae. Les diatomées, les foraminifères planctoniques et benthiques, les nannofossiles calcaires et les radiolaires sont examinés en même temps que l'ichthyofaune.
