Analysing the role of support wear, clothing and accessories in maintaining ostomates' quality of life

Abstract: Stoma care nurses are in a unique position to offer support and advice to enable ostomates to achieve their optimum quality of life, allowing them to fulfil their family, work and social duties and return to the relationships, activities, sports, hobbies and lifestyle that they enjoyed before their surgery.
