Analysis and Design an Electro-Hydraulic Type Belt Capture Device for Belt Conveyor

Abstract: Aimed at the frequent accidents of conveyor belt and the the lower level of belt fracture protection in coal mine, this paper introduces a novel device equipment, the Eectro-hydraulic type Blt Cpture Dvice (Eh-BCD) to achieve safe and reliable working of steel cord conveyor belt. Firstly, after analysed the typical capture device existing on the market and researched the mechanical properties of the instant belt, an electro-hydraulic control type capture device solution was put forward, its work principle and … Show more

“…In the literature [3],the problem of plough spreading was solved by changing the discharge plate of the plough unloader from a straight shape to a curved shape. The literature [4] changed the angle of the tape and baffle plate to change the discharge characteristics.…”

“…In [9], Ma et al studied the dynamic characteristics of belt conveyors during belt rupture through building a finite element model of a belt conveyor based on AMESIM software and the optimal capturing broken-belt was confirmed. In [10,11], Zhang et al presented an electro-hydraulic control type capture device solution and estimated the response time after analyzing a kinematic model of the device. In [12], Du et al designed a wedge-shaped belt arrestor driven by hydraulic pressure and determined the optimal self-locking angle of wedge as 12 • .…”
