The transportation of bulk or liquid cargo is crucial for ensuring the delivery of such cargo to areas lacking well-established infrastructure or favorable natural conditions. These areas may lack sufficient rail or air transport accessibility, or may not have suitable embankments along rivers, lakes or seas with appropriate loading and unloading facilities. Regarding distinctive characteristics, we would like to emphasize the following: (1) Efficient freight accessibility without the need for more infrastructure that is tailored to the existing natural circumstances; (2) An efficient and cost-effective mode of transportation for the movement of small quantities of goods; (3) The cargo philosophy is designed to meet customer expectations by providing a convenient and personalised service that is focused on delivering goods directly to their door. This research employed theoretical methodologies to characterize the primary force exerted by vehicles in the transportation of bulk and liquid commodities (the relationship between centrifugal force and speed and the relationship between the center of gravity and speed). Furthermore, by using expert assessment, the significance indicators pertaining to the individual criteria impacting the transportation of bulk and liquid cargoes were ascertained, along with the identification of their interrelationships (comparison of the different forces in the transportation process of bulk and liquid cargoes, comparison of the criteria of centrifugal force in the transportation process of bulk and liquid cargoes, comparison of the dangerous factors in the transportation process of bulk and liquid cargoes, comparison of the critical level of tank filling in the transportation process of bulk and liquid cargoes, and comparison of the factors that can affect the dynamics of a vehicle in the transportation process of bulk and liquid cargoes).

A variable speed anti-tangling reel mechanism was designed to address the problems of tangling, hanging and rewinding of the tassel wheel and the high paddling loss in the current Chinese rape combine harvester cutting table. The kinematic equations of the reel mechanism were developed, and the analysis showed that the speed in the entry stage is low and the speed in the exit stage is high, and the attitude of the reel teeth change with the rape plant movement during the whole paddling process. A single-factor test and a multi-factor regression orthogonal combination test were carried out using the cutting table loss rate of rape harvesting as the evaluation index. The main and secondary factors affecting the cutting table loss of the variable speed reel were obtained as the reel speed, the machine travel speed and the ground angle of the frame. A mathematical model of regression of cutter loss and the main influencing factors was established, with the coefficient of determination R2 = 0.9918. The optimal combination of parameters for the variable speed reel was obtained with the lowest cutting table loss rate in rape harvesting as the optimization target: reel speed 25r/min, frame parallel to the ground and implement travel speed 0.7m/s. Field validation tests and comparative tests of cutting table loss of the two reels were carried out. The test results show that the regression mathematical model of the cutting table loss is more accurate, and the cutting table loss is reduced by 13.9% with the variable speed reel compared to the cam-action reel, and there are no problems with the paddle teeth hanging and tangling during the paddling process.

For harvesting crops, one-phase and two-phase methods are most often used. When implementing the second one, mounted and trailed units are used. The latter is becoming less and less used due to the problems with movement stability in the horizontal plane because of the asymmetric layout. A stubble background, which is susceptible to solar and wind influences, is formed as a consequence of application of the mounted harvesting unit, As a result, the field’s soil in the inter-swath space intensively loses moisture. A harvesting unit based on a tractor with rear steerable wheels has been designed to eliminate this shortcoming. A header is mounted on its front hitch linkage system, and a disc harrow is mounted on the rear one. During the working movement, such a harvesting unit mows the crop into swaths, chops the stubble in the inter-swath space, and simultaneously incorporates it into the soil. This article presents the operation results of such a unit for harvesting winter wheat, oats, and sudan grass. Research has established that oscillations in the deviations of the mowed crops’ swaths from a straight line are of low frequency. The variances spectra of this process, as follows from the Analysis of normalized spectral densities, are concentrated in the frequency range of 0-0.5 m−1. The mean value velocities of the harvesting unit are 2.13-2.61 m·s−1, which is 0.17-0.21 Hz. The variances of oscillations in the header operating width, the cut crop’s swath width, and the disc harrow’s width are concentrated in approximately the same low-frequency range, the maximum value of which is small and does not exceed 0.9 m−1 or 0.37 Hz. The oscillation processes of the mowed crops’ stubble height have a higher frequency. The cutoff frequency of their normalized spectral densities is at the level of 3.0 m−1. In terms of time, considering the harvesting unit movement velocity of 2.13-2.61 m·s−1, this is 1.02-1.25 Hz. At the same time, oscillations in the stubble height of mowed crops are characterized by small variances, the maximum value of which does not exceed 11 cm2.
