Analysis and visualization of pulsation in B-mode cranial ultrasound images

Abstract: Cranial ultrasound scans are very essential part of the routine investigation of neonatal intensive care. The scan ultrasound image sequence are not only used for real-time diagnosis but also recorded for future diagnosis. In this paper, we analyze and visualize the pulsation amplitude caused by artery pulsation of blood flows from a video stream of ultrasound image sequence by using 1D fast Fourier transform in brightness mode for future diagnosis. The analysis has the advantages of observing pulsation amplit… Show more

“…Most of the previous RS investigations were carried out in magnetic semiconductors Ga 1-x Mn x N, and Ga 1-x Mn x As prepared by re-sublimation method and Mn ion implantation and post annealing [9][10][11]. In our recent study [12], RS characterization of Mn composition has been reported in Ga 1-x Mn x Sb without considering strain effect. In the present study, we have developed RS characterization technique for simultaneous determination of Mn composition and strain in Ga 1-x Mn x Sb/GaSb samples prepared with various Mn compositions by liquid phase epitaxy (LPE).…”
