Analysis of barbituric acid derivatives in biological objects

Abstract: Barbituric acid derivatives produce an inhibiting action on the central nervous system and are widely used in medicine as calming, hypnotic, and anticonvulsant drugs. In clinics, these compounds are employed for the treatment of epilepsy, chorea, and spastic paralysis [1,2].
