Abstract:An aspergilloma is a fungus ball caused by chronic infection ofAspergillusspecies in a pre- existing cavity, such as a destroyed lung or the sinuses. Patients with pulmonary aspergilloma are at risk of sudden life-threatening hemoptysis.
