Abstract:Ductility parameters and building performance level is important as a pre-assessment to a building condition. A higher building performance level will prevent the serious post-earthquake damage of building which will save environment, lives, less cost, and many more. The research is done by modelling existing structure consists of 18 floors and shear walls, then retrofitted with steel bracing with various steel profiles and layouts.
