Analysis of Dynamic Properties and Movement Safety of Bogies with Diagonal Links and Rubber-Metal Vibration Absorbers Between the Rubbing Elements of Freight Cars

Abstract: This article aims to study experimentally the dynamic properties and traffic safety actions for gondola cars with bogies with diagonal links, operated on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The main results obtained during tests of gondola cars on bogie with diagonal links when they move along straight and curved sections as well as on switches are presented. The estimation of: dynamics coefficients, stability margin coefficients against derailment, lateral forces transmitted from the wheel to the rai… Show more

“…The equivalent stress of the center beam for the 1st version in the area of the pivot beam was 105 MPa, with gradual dissipation closer to the center of the wagon up to 6 MPa, and for the 2nd version 125 MPa, at the junction with the pivot beam and dissipation up to 13 MPa closer to the center of the wagon. As can be seen from (see Figure 5 b), the tension of the center beam for version 2 is maintained along the entire length, while for version 1 the tension is closer to zero [21].…”

“…Let us study the influence of external force perturbation on the parametric system, assuming that there is no physical connection between them. In other words, the excitation sources are independent of each other [3]. This will allow us to obtain an analytical solution to the problem and establish some preliminary information, for example, regarding the phase shift angle between force and parametric effects.…”
