“…As described previously, the experimental results obtained in Singapore differ a lot from the CCIR predictions. We have given some simplified formulae [see Zhou et al, 1999] to predict the attenuation and attenuation duration statistics for tropical rainfall. A very simple linear relationship exists for the 10-month experiment period between the attenuation and the logarithm of the percentage time exceeding a preset attenuation level.…”
