With the transition from manual to auto systems, technology has been advancing globally. The smart control panel is the subject of this study. The electrical components of appliances can be inductive, resistive, or capacitive. The majority of inductive devices are motors. a three-stage There are many uses for induction motors in the global power system because of its many benefits, including low starting power, low maintenance cost, and widespread use. This paper discusses fault analysis in induction motors using MATLAB/SIMULINK, providing optimal protection combining traditional and IoT for both automatic and manual methods, and making it fully controllable according to the requirements of protection engineers for various loads. This is important for the economy and the motors' longevity, as it ensures that they operate optimally with the best smart protection techniques. In this setup, the control elements include a molded-case circuit breaker for safety, a temperature and vibration sensor with an Internet of Things (IoT) based remote data collecting method for automatic protection, and a selector switch for human control and automatic operation.

Pakistan is facing huge electric shortage due to which there occur frequent load-shedding and electricity interception. All the issues of DISCOs along with statistics as yearly losses, recovery, and tariff are reviewed to analyze the power network. It is a clear scenario that there is still gap between supply and demand, and generation major part is from fossil fuels which result the high tariff. This in fact have become uneconomical for the domestic users to utilize electricity from the power companies. Apart of this, Pakistan is blessed with high potential of renewable energy resources, which is a good indication from economic and environmental point of view. This article focusses on the economical and technical evaluation on different cases like load running on WAPDA, Solar PV system with backup, Solar PV system without backup and Utility with a generator backup. Various parameters are calculated like NPV, Payback period, and IRR. From the calculations, Load on utility and PV system is the most economical and reliable system when compared with other cases.

The world has moved from fossil fuels to renewable energy resources due to adverse environmental impacts, limited sources, and economic issues. It is not necessary that renewable energy sources have always led to many advantages but have drawbacks like weather dependency, unreliability, storage problems, and upfront costs. This study focuses on one of the major types of RES solar PV systems. The data is used from the specification of solar modules at Sukkur IBA University Sindh Pakistan. Solar photovoltaic output depends upon the weather conditions which vary from time to time resulting in variation in irradiance, temperature, power, and efficiency. This paper aims to observe the effects of the temperature ranging from 1 to 55°c on the efficiency of the monocrystalline photovoltaic module using MATLAB/Simulink. The performance parameters could be Open Circuit Voltage (VOC), Short Circuit Current (ISC), Maximum Power Point Current (IMP), Maximum Power Point Voltages (VMP), Fill Factor (FF), and Efficiency (η). Results from the simulation show that the estimated variation of silicon solar cell parameters such as VOC, IMP, series resistance, FF, and η decrease frequently with increasing temperature.
