Abstract: Bisphenol A (BPA), a synthetic chemical used in polycarbonate plastic and epoxy resin production, is an endocrine disruptor. It interferes with hormonal functioning to cause adverse effects on reproduction, growth, and development in aquatic and terrestrial organisms.
