Analysis of Indications and Results of Surgical Treatment of Ankyloglossia in Children

Abstract: The article is devoted to the analysis of the indications and results of surgical treatment of ankyloglossia in children. Patients were divided into three age groups I – 3–6 years old, II – 7–9 years old, III – 10–12 years old. The result of treatment was rated as very good, good, satisfactory, unsatisfactory. It was found that the most frequent indication (86,4 %) for surgery in children was a problem of speech.
