This view, expressed by Klinger & Moser (1972) and Murkherje et al (1974), is strengthened by Schwarzacher (1976), who claims that standardization of the method of fixation would lead to comparable results between various laboratories. For Barr-body demonstration, however, he recommends, in addition, later refixation of the preparations with 96 % alcohol.…”
