“…Assuming a case of integrating a waste heat recovery bottoming cycle in an already existing platform, power augmentation approaches that only need variation in the bottoming cycle are of higher interest. Based on the studies listed in Table , water and steam injection in the bottoming cycle air stream, supplementary firing, pulse combustor supplementary firing, water injection using air saturator, and double‐stage ABC might achieve efficiency enhancement without any modification in the topping cycles.
