Abstract:Summary
Solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs) are promising electrochemical energy conversion devices that convert fuels into electricity efficiently and cleanly. Modeling mass transport in SOFCs is essential for understanding and designing better fuel cells. In the last decades, the modeling of SOFCs has made significant progress, raising several issues to be addressed. One major issue is how to couple the electronic conduction in electrolyte and the other transport processes in a thermodynamically consistent way. H… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
