This study aimed to determine whether or not brainstorming can help foster creative thinking and academic success in seventh-grade English classes at the Wadi Al Seer Directorate of Education. The study's sample was comprised of (240) students at this grade level. There were 124 students in the study's experimental group, who received instruction in the English language through brainstorming, and 116 students in the control group, who received instruction in the English language through the conventional method. Following the end of instruction, valid and reliable innovative thinking and accomplishment tests were administered using appropriate statistical methodologies to ensure their validity and reliability on a scientific basis. The study found the following results: Results from a poststudy test measuring creative problem-solving abilities (fluency, adaptability, and originality) showed that the experimental group that had studied English using brainstorming had a statistically significant advantage over the control group at the 0.05 level. Statistically significant differences were seen at a significance level of 0.05 between the average performance of the two groups in the study's achievement posttest. These differences were in favor of the experimental group, which used brainstorming as a method to study the English language subject.

This research aims to analyze students' literal thinking ability in solving plane problems in terms of the adversity quotient (AQ). This type of research is quasi-experimental and involves 55 elementary school students in Central Maluku Regency, Maluku Province, Indonesia. The data obtained was analyzed using non-parametric statistical tests with the Kruskal Wallis test type. The results of the research show that there are differences in students' literal thinking abilities in solving flat - shape problems in terms of AQ. By using the Post-Hoc test, it was found that the literal thinking ability of AQ-Cb students was significantly different from AQ-Q and AQ-Cp, while AQ-Q and AQ-Cp level students had no significant difference. This difference is because AQ-Cb level students are more thorough and work harder in solving flat shape problems compared to AQ-Q and AQ-Cp level students. Students with high AQ are generally more skilled at understanding information, interpreting problems, and being able to make solutions correctly. It is important to develop the creative thinking ability of elementary school students so they can tackle the challenges of today’s world. This skill can be enhanced through learning activities at school, particularly in subjects like mathematics. This study aimed to create motion graphics video teaching materials based on the CPA approach to help improve students’ creative thinking abilities. The 4-D model was used to develop these materials, which involves defining, designing, developing, and disseminating the materials. The experts used teaching materials assessment sheets and test items to evaluate the effectiveness of the materials. The results showed that mathematics teaching materials using motion graphics video teaching based on the CPA approach were successful in improving students’ creative thinking skills. These teaching materials can be used in elementary mathematics education and for further research purposes. Keywords: CPA approach, mathematical creative thinking ability, motion graphics video.
