Background. The interest in women’s premier league cricket has caused the need for advanced analytics to understand the multifaceted dynamics of the sport. Study Purpose. This study aimed to contribute to sports analytics by assessing the efficacy of Support Vector Regression (SVR) kernel models in predicting the most valuable player. Such research methods as ANOVA, Bessel function, and Inverse MultiQuadratic kernel application have been deliberately chosen for their diverse mathematical approaches, aligning with the nuanced intricacies of women's premier league cricket. Materials and methods. Player performance was analyzed by using the following study methods: ANOVA, Bessel function and Inverse MultiQuadratic kernel application. The data, sourced from espncricinfo.com and the International Cricket Council, includes essential metrics for five teams. Rigorous preprocessing techniques, such as imputation and outlier removal, enhance data reliability, ensuring robust predictive models. Results. The application of the Inverse MultiQuadratic kernel exhibits exceptional predictive performance, surpassing ANOVA and Bessel function models. The kernels radial basis function proves effective in capturing the intricate dynamics of women’s premier league cricket. The findings underscore the suitability of kernel method for predicting standout performers in the Womenʼs Premier League 2024 season. Conclusions. The study revealed the dynamic interplay between sports analytics and machine learning in women's premier league cricket. The application of the Inverse MultiQuadratic kernel stands out as the most effective model, providing key insights into player predictions. This emphasizes the continual integration of advanced analytical techniques to enhance our understanding of the evolving landscape of women’s premier league cricket. As the sport gains prominence on the global stage, such analytical endeavors become imperative for strategic decision-making and sustained growth.

This study aims to produce innovative badminton agility tests specifically for athletes aged 15-17 years with the Y agility test model. There are three steps in determining an agility test model. The first step is the qualitative analysis of documents, textbooks, research articles related to agility tests. The second step is quantitative analysis using the delphi technique; the results consist of six aspects of assessment, namely the conformity aspect of the definition of agility to the test media, the conformity aspect of the badminton game, the distance aspect of the test, the motion aspect, the test procedure aspect, the construction aspect of the test image. Step three include the Aiken V validity test and Cronbach’s Alpha and Intraclass Correlation Coefficients (ICC) reliability test. This study involved nine experts for the validity test and 55 badminton athletes (35 men and 20 women) for the reliability test with a minimum qualification of having been champion at the regional level, athlete characteristics (mean±SD) age 16.15±0.8 years old, height 164.15 ±1.9 cm, weight 53.58±1.7 kg, BMI (body mass index) 19.19±34, training experience 4.71±1.4 years. The results of this study are validity test, the average value of V is 0.824. Cronbach’s Alpha 0.817 reliability test and Interclass Correlation Coefficient 0.818. Thus, the Y agility test has a high level of validity and reliability. It is expected in the future that the Y agility test for special badminton sports aged 15-17 years can be used around the world, even we encourage to publish the results of the test scientifically. Thus, the innovation of badminton agility tests can continue to develop for achievement sports and for academics to further develop Y agility tests scientifically. It is recommended to further strengthen the level of accuracy of this test, then an empirical validity test and test-retest are needed. Keywords: Y agility, Badminton, Validity and Reliability

The purpose of the research was to develop a methodology of control and determine the indicators of integral assessment of competitive performance by various tactical game models of highly qualified football club teams. Material and methods. In the period of 2018-2023, 110 games of the leading European club teams and 46 games of the football team "Dynamo" (Kyiv) were analyzed with regard to the tactical models of the games "A", "B", "C", "D". Specific coefficients were determined in the phase of passing and possession of the ball, which constituted an integral assessment of competitive performance. The assessment of attacks and goalscoring situations, the realization of pressing, the effectiveness of players' interaction in the phase of picking up the ball, as well as the criteria of creativity and game combinations were taken into account. Results. An integral assessment methodology of the competitive performance of football club teams has been developed, consisting of 10 specific coefficients: high pressing coefficient; high pressing efficiency factor, low pressing efficiency factor, coefficient of ball picking efficiency, ball interceptions efficiency coefficient, penetration attack efficiency coefficient, successful penetration attack efficiency coefficient, goalscoring situation coefficient, the creativity and the combinability coefficients. The first five coefficients characterize the team's play in the phase of picking up the ball, the other five – in the phase of ball control on the field. The determined indicators of the integral assessment of the competitive performance of the leading European club teams according to different tactical models of the game are as follows: model "A" - 5.95±0.32 points; model "B" - 5.35±0.29 points; model "C" - 5.57±0.47 points; model "D" - 5.14±0.33 points. Conclusions. The integral assessment of competitive performance allows to provide effective control of interaction of players of a club football team in the phases of picking up and possession of the ball.
