Abstract:The unprecedented surge in dengue epidemics across the globe in recent decades prompted WHO at the start of 2019 to include the virus in its list of the world's top 10 public health threats. The specific goal of the global strategy for dengue prevention and control of 2012 -2020 is that it can reduce 50% of mortality and 25% of morbidity from dengue.
