Abstract:The aerosol optical characteristics in the wavelength range of 0.46-0.87 μm were calculated on the basis of an empirical model of the aerosol optical characteristics in the summer background haze of Western Siberia. The Monte Carlo method was used to estimate the sensitivity of the model to uncertainties in measuring the input parameters: angular light scattering coefficient at a wavelength of 0.53 μm at an angle of 45°, mass concentration of the absorbing substance, and parameters of its lognormal size distri… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
