Abstract:The image analysis technology including Fast Fourier transform and spatial correlation functions are employed to investigate the spatial distribution of some hexagonal patterns obtained in dielectric barrier discharge system. Through Fast Fourier Transform, it is found that the wave vector increases with driving voltage increasing. Through spatial correlation functions calculation to the patterns, it is found that the deviation from perfect hexagonal structure changes with increasing driving voltage.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
