Analysis of Streamflow Response to Changing Climate Conditions Using SWAT Model

Abstract: The understanding of climate change is curial for the security of hydrologic conditions of river basins and it is very important to study the climate change impacts on streamflow by analyzing the different climate scenarios with the help of the hydrological models. The main purpose of this study is to project the future climate impact on streamflow by using the SWAT model. The multi-model projections indicated that Upper Ayeyarwady River Basin is likely to become hotter in dry season under low rainfall intensi… Show more

“…These features are determined on the base of defined indicators. Many indices are presented in drought estimation and the researchers have been reviewed these indices [16][17][18][19][20]. Undoubtedly, the most widely used drought index is Standardized Precipitation Index (SPI).…”

“…PM concentration was shown to be negatively and nonlinearly associated with wind speed (Li et al, 2015). Moreover, temperature and relative humidity are often considered as potential confounding factors which need to be adjusted in the stage of model development (Oo et al, 2020;Qiu et al, 2018;Zhu et al, 2019b). Therefore, the effect of meteorological factors (temperature, relative humidity, and wind speed) was added and adjusted in the model development of this study to obtain a more accurate relationship between air pollutant and LC mortality.…”

“…It is also a geological period most affected by human activities and closely related to human evolution and development. The climate change during Holocene reflects the future trend of climate change and has become the focus of PAGES (Burciaga et al 2019;Chen et al 2020;Han et al 2020;Javadinejad et al 2020). Due to the comprehensive influence of solar radiation, atmospheric circulation, physical and geographical environments in different regions, the climate change in different regions has its own characteristics since Holocene, and there are some differences among regions, so the regional research of Holocene climate change is worthy of attention.…”
