Abstract:The bifurcation angle of the coronary artery can have an impact on blood flow velocity, especially in the narrow region, where the flow velocity becomes more pronounced, leading to further deterioration of the stenosis in that area. In order to investigate the effect of bifurcation angle on the coronary blood flow field, four bifurcation angle models were established in Solidworks, and a bidirectional fluid-solid coupling method was used to numerically simulate the blood distribution. The changes in the blood … Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
