Analysis of the Influence of the Number of Burnishing Passes on the Geometric Structure of Aluminium Composites Surface

Abstract: The paper presents the results of burnishing tests of composites based on AlSi9Mg aluminum alloy matrix, reinforced with Saffil ceramic fibers and silicon carbide particles. The tested material was produced at the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology. The tested materials were turned and then ball burnished.
