Analysis of the Influence of the Main Technological Parameters of Forming Periodic Corrugations in Rolls on the Accuracy of Their Periods

Abstract: A model of the process which describes the dependence of the period accuracy of profiles with periodically recurring longitudinal corrugations on the ratio of the main diameters, height and cross-sectional dimensions of periodic corrugations is created; expressions for finding the optimum values of the main diameters, corrugations height and their cross-sectional dimensions that ensure minimum deviations of the longitudinal dimensions of profile periods from the nominal ones are obtained.
