“…An analytical investigation of the current distribution around a centrally located crack in a long cylindrical superconductor has been presented by Xue and Zhou [19] recently, and they found that the current distribution at the tip of the crack was a singularity. In experimental investigations, magnetometers [20], scanning Hall probes [21,22], and magneto-optical devices [23,24] are used to measure the current distribution in the HTS thin films and bulks.
