Abstract:Objective: This study aims to determine the wound-healing activity of turmeric essential oil (TEO) collected from seven growing locations in West Sumatra, classify it based on fingerprint patterns of IR spectra combined with chemometrics, and identify their metabolite profiling using GC-MS spectroscopy.
Methods: Fresh turmeric rhizome was extracted by the hydrodistillation method. TEO classification was carried out by PCA (Principal Component Analysis), and PLS-DA (Partial Least Squares-Discriminant Anal… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
