Analysis on Sensitivity of Power System Stability to Generator Parameters

Abstract: The sensitivity of power system stability (including transient and dynamic stabilities) to generator parameters (including parameters of generator model, excitation system and power system stabilizer) is analyzed in depth by simulations. From the tables and plots of the resultant simulated data, a number of useful rules are revealed. These rules can be directly applied to the engineering checking of generator parameters. Because the complex theoretical analyses are circumvented, the checking procedure is great… Show more

“…The W(t) is a standard Wiener process, and the parameter σ is the strength of random fluctuations. The random variables generally introduce to characterise the phenomenon of the random uncertainties accruing in the system and exhibits the random nature of the statistical variables [29][30][31]. On the basis of the Gompertz model, and in order to decrease the population of cancerous cells, two control parameters are presented to manipulate the growth and death rates in the drift term of the Gompertz model, namely…”

“…Circulating fluidized bed (CFB) power generation technology has the advantages of wide fuel adaptability, high-efficiency desulfurization and nitrogen suppression of the furnace, etc. Which has been widely used in China [1][2]. Due to its unique ash circulation system, the CFB unit can stably maintain the bed temperature of the furnace between 700°C and 900°C, and its heat storage capacity is large, which ensures stable combustion under ultra-low load.…”
