Analytical Models of Experimental Artefacts in an Ill-Posed Nonlinear ODE System
Andreas Henrici,
Marcello Robbiani
Abstract:We discuss different approaches for the analytical description of a mechanical system used in control theory, aiming at the analytical modelling of experimental artefacts observed in the implementation of ideal searched trajectories. Starting from an established analytical solution, we develop an alternative analytical model for this solution with minimal deviations and then extend this starting point to a more flexible toolbox that incorporates a variety of phenomena that typically occur in real implementatio… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
