Abstract:The stress distribution and fracture parameter calibration of ice–rock models are important aspects of studying rock properties at high altitudes and latitudes. However, progress in ice–rock modeling has been slow and singular, and it is limited due to the discrete nature of rocks and the applicability of fracture mechanics.
