The science literacy skills of students in South Kalimantan have yet to be fully identified. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the profile of physics science literacy among senior high school students in South Kalimantan. This research is a quantitative study that utilizes a purposive sampling technique. The study subjects are senior high school students in each district/city in South Kalimantan, with one school selected as the sample from each district/city. The study includes a total of 13 schools with 502 students. Data were obtained through surveys and data collection using test instruments. The data were analyzed descriptively using the Rasch model in the Winstep application. The results of the study show that the physics science literacy skills of senior high school students are categorized as “sufficient,” and the quality of the test items and the reliability aspects of the instruments are good. The categorization of science literacy skills among students in each district/city varies. The categories consist of four classifications: “very high” and “high” categories include two districts, the “sufficient” category includes five districts, and the “low” category includes three districts. Based on the variable maps of students’ proficiency levels, they fall into the “sufficient” category. Therefore, it can be concluded that the profile of physics science literacy among senior high school students in South Kalimantan is categorized as “sufficient”.

Indonesia has a motto known as 'Bhineka Tunggal Ika'. This motto means although they are different but still one, this is because Indonesia has a diversity of tribes, cultures, races, and languages. The inability of some individuals in Indonesia to accept these differences leads to negative multiculturalism. In pesantren, this will be more sensitive because the students have a diversity of backgrounds both in terms of culture, ethnicity, ethnicity, language, and regions which are then united in the same place. Multicultural education is defined as education that teaches differences and the vitality of cultural diversity and ethnicity related to equality, justice, openness, and recognition of differences. This study aims to determine the inculcation of the value of multicultural education, especially at the Al-Fatah Islamic Boarding School, Temboro. This research is a descriptive qualitative using a phenomenological approach, which is a study that aims to objectively reveal facts, symptoms, and events related to the phenomenon of planting and values of multicultural education at the Al-Fataah Islamic Boarding School, Temboro. This research is also included in the field research category. The results of the study found the inculcation of multicultural educational values that emphasize the importance of legitimacy, and the vitality of ethnic and cultural diversity in shaping the order of life, groups, and nations by inculcating democratic values to using strategies that involve approaches to parents.

The measurement of scientific literacy is very focused, this is shown by the urgency of preparing scientific literacy test instruments. This research develops a proper scientific literacy test instrument on particle dynamics material. This research is a development research adapted from the Borg and Gall model. The test subjects of this study were 202 students. Design validation, instrument validity, instrument reliability, instrument difficulty level and instrument differentiability are data analysis techniques. The product produced is a material science literacy test instrument for particle dynamics totaling 10 questions in the form of reasoned multiple choice questions. The results showed that (1) the questions were in the valid category, (2) had reliability with very good criteria of 0.83 (3) the difficulty level of the questions obtained 1 item in the difficult category and 11 questions with moderate criteria, (4) the results of the discriminating power of the questions show that there are 2 questions with sufficient discriminating power so that the items can still be used and there are 2 items with bias so that 2 items are discarded. It can be concluded that the developed scientific literacy test instrument can be used to measure students' scientific literacy competence.
