Anaphylactic Reactions to Aprotinin Reexposure in Cardiac Surgery

Abstract: Quantitative detection of antiaprotinin IgE and IgG lacks specificity for predictive purposes; however, quantitation of antiaprotinin IgG may identify patients at risk for developing an anaphylactic reaction to aprotinin reexposure.
