Abstract:Background: Mastocytosis is a heterogenous disorder characterized by accumulation of mast cells in different tissues. Mastocytosis may be limited to skin or it may involve bone marrow, liver, spleen and lymphatic tissue as systemic mastocytosis. Patients may also present with anaphylaxis.
