Abstract:Background: Variations of inguinal canal and inguinal nerves are not uncommon. Knowledge about those variations is important to avoid inadvertent injury to the vital structures and to prevent recurrence.Methods: This prospective clinical study included all patients undergoing open inguinal hernia repair.
